ABOUT THE ARTIST
The joy of creating has always been a significant part of my life. I was the kid who got excited about a new box of crayons (still do), entered poster contests and went on to study art history at university.
More recently, I participated in craft shows, selling small fabric stuffed owls, calling my little business "Give A Hoot". My creations caught the interest of a boutique hotel owner, who featured my Hoots in the hotel rooms.
Now I am enjoying participating in various art group and classes, renewing my interest in drawing, painting and collage. My art celebrates nature and the beauty that surrounds us in everyday life. I have been working on creating an ABC book of flowers in ink and watercolour which I have been thinking of getting published.
