ABOUT THE ARTIST
2020-21 has proven to be a remarkable time, challenging each of us to find ways to stay healthy, support others, and value the things that we can do. Painting has been one of those things for me – nourishing, calming, and inspiring. This collection for the Lambeth Art Association includes one painting from a series on the Mother Tree, an old white pine standing tall as it slowly becomes part of the earth; a bare tree resting in winter along one of London’s walking paths; two charming old homes in the Woodfield neighbourhood; and a bright summer day at Elsie Perrin Williams Estate. This selection reflects some of the subjects that I enjoy painting, typically in oil or acrylic, and the pleasure of painting outdoors and in the studio.
